It’s amazing to think that it has already been 6 weeks since we began the Demonstration Wildflower Gardening project. It all started with a small idea: creating a garden to inspire others in a tiny 75 ft2 area, but it quickly expanded to 43 times the size! We tilled and weeded, picked up garbage and large rocks, created a design and staked it out, covered the paths in mulch, sprinkled the soil with the ‘magic’ minerals, and planted and watered the seeds. Though it may seem easy enough when put into words like this, it was hard work, and it took the co-operation of 7 great members excited about the project to work together and see everything to completion! It was an exciting project, and we’re all proud of the results. Although to some it may just look like mulch and dirt right now; in a year or so we hope to see an amazing wildflower garden filled with passers-by, enjoying the view! This could not have been accomplished without all of the help we had from very knowledgeable people! Thanks to all!
