Steps away from a lean-to greenhouse!

On Tuesday the greenhouse group met with Jennifer Willet to discuss our recommendation for a lean-to green house to be attached to the side of the eco-house. Noel attended the meeting and assisted in determining our final goals for the end of the term. It was quite a feat on our part, but we did come to a compromise with Jennifer on the style of greenhouse that will be built. Price helped to dictate the choice of a prefabricated kit that could be radically modified to suit the bio-mimicry ideas recommended by Jennifer. Jennifer is willing to consider increasing her budget to suit the modifications that she would like to do in the future. We are currently contacting local greenhouse suppliers in order to increase our current budget.
Knowing that there is only a week left in this term we would like to wrap up the greenhouse project proposal by providing the next term of the Green Corridor class with a manual with variations in the designs of the greenhouses, each with its size and full pricing and technical aspects this is to ensure the success of implementing a bio-mimic greenhouse. Jennifer will make her choice of greenhouse style from one of the three proposals we will be providing, as well as considering Noel and Rod’s input.
Our final greenhouse design proposal is illustrated in the picture provided in our blog. This greenhouse design is the basic design and does not include any modifications that might be done.
