In the past week, the catalogue team has taken on many more tasks related to promotion and media. We have already divided into smaller groups to cover all projects which include: designing the catalogue, writing press releases and new updates, photographing all important events and planning the opening of the wind turbine.
Currently we are working on documenting the arrival of the crate and writing the first press release about the installation of the wind meter and LED screen. This press release will be sent to our list of media outlets in the Windsor area, who we hope gain interests in the green corridor projects. We have also completed the first draft of the layouts (see one sample above).
Our goal is to get anyone and everyone updated on what Green Corridor has been doing since the last major project. Contacting media outlets and getting information to the public is mandatory.
While writing for the catalogue and sending out tweets (stay updated here!) we are aiming to have the turbine opening in mid-November with an amazing event full of media guests and people who are important to the Windsor community.
We will also have the first news article posted this week (here). The group has a lot of work ahead of them with the wind turbine completion just around the corner! Feel free to contact our group if you have any promotional ideas.
