Getting into our groups

On Thursday, May 12, we got the opportunity to look over all of the projects. Although every project seemed interesting, several outdoor projects blended well with each other. Our group decided to combine several projects into one larger project.

Our group consists of: Samantha Field, Ling Li, Harpreet Singh, Jyotsna Vasudev, Kim Freeland, Larry Meloche, and Natalie Sinn.

The beginnings of our project.

We will incorporate the osprey perch with irrigation water, pathways, a garden wall, and the Poet Blox. After a brain-storming session, we came up with a tentative plan and mapped out a basic design. We will be looking at putting a movable garden wall on rails that will circle the Poet Blox. There will be a pathway and a gravity-fed drip irrigation system. We plan to use solar power and the inventiveness of the engineers to get this project running.
