Urban Agriculture: Opportunities and Challenges
After a very successful midterm presentation, the Urban Agriculture group has taken a step back and reviewed the objectives that we laid out at the beginning of the semester. Taking into account both the suggestions and critiques that were expressed during the discussion of our progress, the Urban agriculture group has formulated some new initiatives and directions that the group will proceed towards.
One of the new initiatives that the Urban Agriculture group is undertaking with the assistance of Rod and a few other vital partners is organizing the talk that Karen Landman is going to be leading. The title of this talk is Urban Agriculture: Opportunities and Challenges. This event will be taking place in the Lebel Visual Arts Building, Room 115 on Thursday March 18 at 7pm to 9 pm. This talk will be an intriguing discussion that will provide all attendees with an immense insight into the various aspects of Urban Agriculture and the benefits and difficulties associated with it. Keep tuned in for further details on this event.
